I have a mole that appears normal, but all the pigmentation in the skin around it has gone away.?

The mole is less then half the size of a pencil eraser, but the "white" circle (color crayon white) in my skin around the mole is about the size of a nickel, and slowly getting bigger. I'm thinking that's bad?

Do yourself a favor and go see your doctor. Not even a professional can diagnose a mole unless they can see and sometimes feel the area.Take care of yourself, Pandora

it could be a form of skin cancer. have your doc check it out! i had something that sounded like that in the 80s. ANd yes, it was a form of skin cancer. See your Doc!
