I have a horrible sunburn, how can I soothe it???

Answer:
Aloe vera gel or lotion, really hot showers (you're supposed to do this instead of cold ones), or pour aloe vera gel into ice cube trays, freeze them, and rub the frozen cubes on your skin.
Aloe vera
milk.
aloe vera!!!
Put either NOXEMA or just plain vinigar on it. Vinigar takes the burn out of anything.
Get some aloe vera and put it in the fridge then apply. Also try oatmeal baths.
aloe. fresh aloe from the plant is best, but if you can't get that buy it from the store.
Aloe Vera gel with lidocaine
Original Noxema cream
Cool bath
Advil
Aloe, and Eucerin cream. Keep applying because your skin most likly is so dry your skin will suck the cream right up. Aloe is a definate. Also take 2 regular asprins. This will help ease pain and swelling
aloe vera gel, keep in the fridge. And use sun screen next time!!!! you only get one set of skin, take care of it!
really hot showers are a BAD idea. OUCH!!
Sleep naked witha fan and keep your skin hydrated, lotion and what not.
calmine lotion stay out of sun if you go into it use sun block.
Aloe vera is the best way to soth and to take the burn away its might sting a little but at least it will cure that burn. Its a plant form or a gell form do gell becasue at store
You can put on these diferent creams and gels that are sold at drugstores. they are for sunburn relief and it helps it go away. They have to contain aloe vera though. Those are the best.
aloe vera helps alot a cool soak and take a pain reliever May I suggest a stronger uv protectant like a 45.I feel for you honey./n old fashioned remedy a paste made of corn strach and water or meat tenderizer and water.check out the native american natural healin sites good luck
Aloe gel and maybe a visit to the Dr.
Solarcaine is pretty good for sunburn also.
Vinegar is the best soothing remedy. You will stink but it is amazing how good it works. Aloe is good, but not as good as regular vinegar. With vinegar you can put it in a spray bottle which is easily applied with no irritation to your skin. With Aloe, you have to rub it on, which can irritate your skin. Believe me it works great, 25 years... living in Florida ivew had a few sunburns.
Hi cassandra p,Add a cup or two of vinegar (apple cider or white vinegar) (works like an antiseptic) to a tepid bath %26 soak in it, then apply aloe vera (keep in refrigertor feels cool but is really sooothing) you can get it from Walgreen's, Snyder's, Wal-mart, Target or any store(call ahead see if they have it). Also if you have an aloe plant cut this length wise %26 put the juices from that on. If you have tiny blisters the best thing is go to the doctor as you could have 2nd or 3rd degree burns. Next time do try some sun block. Good luck and have a good day. :0)
use aloe (soothing)
dermaplast spray (numbing)
ibuprofen (inflammation)
try using white vinegar in a cool bath it will take out the burn and also help you from peeling. also aloe vera is great for soothing the burn.
NOXZEMA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST over the counter product.
It draws out the "fire" and "tightness" will help you to be able to sleep.
