I have a keloid on the back of my ear...?

i just took out my 2 week old cartilage piering becuase i got it done with a gun. on the back of my ear there is a keloid (i think) for about a week it has hurt when i put sea salt on the back of my ear, but not hte front. i thought it was nothing, so i was suprized. i think its a keloid, i saw on anougher post that it could be a bump of infection? i cant see it that cleary, but my mom was like that gross, its all red and stuff! (it bled when i took it out)my question is what do i do to makeit go away? i have heard of laser treatment, but its not that big. (its smaller then half a dime) wil it go away on its own if i continue to use sea salt? i will vote for a best answer

This isn't uncommon, and it's easy to fix!Go to the drugstore and get Vitamin E capsules.
Three times a day, pierce a capsule with a sterilized needle, and squeeze the goop inside onto your clean finger. Apply it to both sides of your ear, all over and around the bump, and on the front side as well. In three weeks this treatment will do wonders. Be sure you get the capsules, Vitamin E oil in a tube or squeeze bottle just doesn't seem to work as well.Good luck!
talk to a dermatologist and plastic surgeon to get the best advice.
Keep using sea salt soaks. It's not a keloid; since you took out the earring before it was healed, your ear is trying to get rid of the dying cells but there is no way for it to drain now. So it is building up in a sort of "zit".
Dissolve 1 teaspoon sea salt in 1 cup of water as hot as you can stand. Soak your ear in it for 5-10 minutes. Do this 2-3 times a day.
If it doesn't start getting better in a few days, see a professional piercer and s/he can help you.
Keliods can need a few things. Time will usually heal a small one from a piercing but if that doesn't work after the puncture is all healed and it's still there or getting worse you may need a shot of shot or antibiotic that you can get at a walk in clinic and be in and out. Laser is extreme for how small it is. But if it gets worse or doesn't go away see your doctor or call and ask what might help. Sea Salt soaks should help a lot though, that will sooth the skin and help your ear heal which could quite easily in turn heal the Keliod bump. Good luck, those can really suck.**Vitamin E is a really good idea too. Pair that with Sea Salt soaks and it should go away on it's own.
