I have a lump in my neck, it keeps changing size, any ideas what it could be?

I have looked into cancer of the lymphnodes, but it seems the lump would stay the same size or get larger. Mine changes in size. any ideas?

get to your GP straight away hunny. don't leave it as cancer has a good survival rate if it is caught early enough. i know as i am recovering from cervical cancer. i got the all clear in April. but have to have another procedure done in October for the final all clear. don't sit there worrying yourself sick hunny. go and get it checked out. it could be something or nothing,but its best to get it checked just to be on the safe side. best of luck hunny,and i hope all go's well for you xxx take care xx

It sounds like a gland. This could be anything from a cold coming, to an infection in your mouth. Probably nothing serious at all.are you run down at the moment?Try taking some vitamins, getting rest and take liquid Aloe Vera. Give it a week or two, and see your GP.Take care x

My lymph nodes swell in my neck when I'm sick. They change sizes. However you should call your doctor and make an appointment for a complete physical and make sure you mention the node thing. good luck.

I had a problem that sounds similar years ago, it kept coming and going and changing size, finally a specialist recognized it as a calcified sub-mandibular gland and it was surgically removed, apparently these are pretty commom, check with your Dr about it

yeah...ummmmm..either a bug bite or you could be dignosed with lukimia.or cancer... definately get it checked out it could be life threatening.. and for the heck of it rubbing some antihistimine cream on it just to be safe you know.. thats if it's a bug bight....hopefully thats all it is.it would be sad to lose someopne i just talked to.....!!?!!?!!?!!...

It will need to be examined to determine a diagnosis. It could be a swollen lymph node caused by an infection somewhere in the body and your body is fighting it. Or it could be cancer . . doesn't have to by lymphoma cancer. Any metastatic cancer can show up as a swollen lympth node. My sons abdominal sarcoma metastastized to his lymph nodes. He was diagnosed using a swollen node from his neck. Go get it checked as soon as possible. Good luck.

go to the doctors.it could be thyroid. but your doctor can advise you loads more as they can see it, and will ask and know your symtoms.
